Great Sevice and very pleasant place for a fuel and food
stop. Call ahead and they will have you some great burritos
ready to fill your tank. Nice Midway stop for us on our way from
PHX>New Orleans.

Two words...."The Best!!" Dave met us out at the plane, his
wife made us a fresh batch of cookies and some fresh popcorn. We
were enroute to Roswell, NM from Houston, TX and they made the
stop there the smartest decision I made on the entire trip.
Great place and great FBO. Definitely will return again!!

A+++ Service CHEAPEST GAS ON THE FIELD!!!! BEST FBO IN
TEXAS!!!! All I can say is WOW. Dave (Owner) knows what customer
service is all about. We bought 20 gallons of fuel for my Piper
and you would have thought by the way we were treated we were
buying 1500 gallons for a Gulfstream. Free Cookies, Internet,
and the best popcorn in Texas. Visit this FBO and realize why I
want to stop even if I don't have to.

One of the best FBO experiences I've had in a long time.
Extremely friendly, helpful, and grateful! I only bought about
110 gals Jet-A, but they treated me like a king. They gave me
their crew car overnight and suggested multiple good restaurants
for my one-night stay. I will definitely stop in again in the
future.

Highly recommend Skyline. It was raining when I landed on
10/06/05. "Follow me" met me, and line man was right there with
an umbrella. He gave me his card...was a certified mechanic...I
apologize that I misplaced the card so I could give proper
recognition. He used great care in refueling while it was
raining to prevent any water getting in the fuel and followed my
instructions to the tee in whether to add oil. Will definitely
use them again.

I stopped a couple of times to refuel at Skyline and both
visits were met with excellent service by James and Dave. Prompt
and professional care as well as great value. Will definitely
stop again if the opportunity arises.

What a great place to stop! I cannot say enough about the
service and Texas hospitality. I fly for a Fortune 500
corporation all over the world, and I would most definitely rate
Skyline Aviation as one of the top 10 FBOs in the world, with
excellent prices and unparalleled service. I will be back
through time and time again, and I will surely pass the word
around the corporate aviation world. I have been to the other
FBO on the field, and there is just no comparison, I promise.
The other FBO (Ranger Aviation) should be ashamed! Listen to a
seasoned veteran - go to Skyline Aviation for service you will
not believe!

I'm disabled and in a wheelchair. We planned a vacation to
Carlsbad NM to see the Caverns. My wife and I flew into San
Angelo after forgetting to bring part of the equipment needed to
get me in and out of our Cardinal. We stopped at Skyline and
without batting an eye they ran to the rescue to help me in and
out of our plane, refuel us etc, both on our trip up and on the
way back. We've never met nicer more accommodating people. The
facilities, pilots lounge, and etc are great and well kept.
Everyone working there seems to fall over backwards to help you.
We want to say thanks Dave and James. Letting everyone else know
how well you run your business is the least we can do to repay
all the kindness you showed us.

I stopped here today in a 152, bought 12 gallons of fuel,
and was treated like a king. I have never seen such good service
from an FBO, in a turboprop let alone a 152. I was driven over
to the terminal for lunch and was told to "Call whenever you
want us to pick you up". When I got back to the airplane, I
found two cookies waiting for me. Wonderful service at wonderful
prices.

This is a great place to stop. The facility is nice, the people
are great and the fuel prices are outstanding. If I'm anywhere close
I'll stop there even if I don't need fuel.
16-Jul-2005
Skyline is the place to go. Talk about customer service! We
topped off with a whopping 13.5 gallons and still got fabulous
service. I've never seen anything like it. I was on a dual cross
country with my student. Needless to say both my student and myself
have already and will in the future stop back in. I will recommend
them to everyone I know. GREAT place.
14-Apr-2005
I stopped on 4-13. 1 of the best FBOs I've visited. It wasn't
the fac's, though they're good (they've a printer that pilots can
use & it works! [see Mar. 05 comment on Brand X up the ramp]), it
wasn't the cookies (they were warm & tasty), & it wasn't because of
the Jet-A cost (10% lower than Brand X FBO), it wasn't that I was
offered & took the owner's car for 4+ hours; or even the t-shirt I
got. What really did it was the personalized service -- the
attention I received from the owners to the line person who fueled &
washed my windows. All went out of their way to make us feel like we
mattered. They understand it's not about fuel prices or facilities.
It's about service-the forgotten art. They treated me the same as
they would've a G-V pilot. Oh, yeah, I drive a Piper Meridian, &
bought 30 gal. Jet-A. Folks, this's the FBO to go to @ KSJT. Those
looking for a southern transcon stop, go to this FBO. Why pilots
would hand over extra $ to get fewer services & lesser customer
service is beyond me.
24-Mar-2005
Skyline was a pleasure to work with. We had an auxiliary fuel
pump fail here in SJT which forced a 4 day stay. From front door
desk to mechanic everyone was very understanding and helpful to
our situation, including referring hotel stay, food and bev, and
driving directions until after their hours. Nothing but good
comments across the board.
05-Mar-2005
The plan was to fly in late on a Sunday night to drop off the
owner and overnight out the next morning. The Duke had an alternator
problem and their maintenance man Karl did a great quick turn for
me. Scott and Madeline are wonderful people! They loaned me their
crew van for the amount of time I was there, and helped with room
reservations. They know customer service! Watch out for the cookies
though, they'll make you go off your diet!!! :o)
28-Jan-2005
I have stopped through Skyline Aviation several times in our Cessna
Conquest. It has always been a great experience!!! Everybody is
very willing to help! Great fuel prices and they now have a new Jet
A truck. I would never consider going to the other FBO after I
visited Skyline. Thanks Dave!!!
20-Jun-2004
Fast friendly service. And good price on jet fuel...
27-May-2004
I was there May 21-23. They're the nicest people I have ever met at
an FBO.
25-May-2004
Exceptional service and very friendly staff. Gas price was not up
to date. But with unstable gas prices right now the price is
changing daily everywhere! All in all, our visit to SJT was great
and Skyline is doing their part in promoting their fair city as one
of the friendliest.
23-May-2004
Visited earlier this month. Excellent service, indeed best that
I've had at any FBO for a long time. Highly recommend.
04-May-2004
Been there a couple of times in our Caravan. Good folks with good
service, and good fuel prices.
1-Apr-2004
Used the self serve pump, and the operator at the FBO allowed
liberal use of the computer to scope out the Wx. Nice place.
Reasonable fuel.
From Patrick Andrews, AirLife Missions Southeast Church of
Christ, San Antonio, TX on 23-Mar-2004
Outstanding and beyond--accolades, praise, and an unsolicited
recommendation to others. My thanks to all of the crew at Skyline!
The occasion of this visit was Angel Flight. I was helped with
marshalling, refueling, flight planning, and my passenger. Without
exception, the folks at Skyline know how to run an FBO that meets and
helps the public with which they deal. A big thank you for the
unsolicited discount on the fuel for Angel Flight--it is so greatly
needed and appreciated as we stretch our donated dollars to their
maximum limit.
27-Feb-2004
Landed at night as FBO was getting ready to close. Husband/wife
team running FBO were so helpful and friendly. Gave us family car to
use to get to motel. Service was wonderful. Gas fair price at $2.39.
Would definitely stop there again.
23-Feb-2004
I would stop here with my business every time! Dave loaned my
family a courtesy car even though we only came in a puddle hopper
(Cessna 172). The fellow in an earlier post that was unhappy with both
FBO's in trying to gain access to the ramp should not be unhappy with
Skyline. Dave explained to me before I left that the combination for
the lock on the gate is same as the tower frequency. I think that I
also remember a CLEARLY marked sign on the inside of the gate stating
the same.
25-Dec-2003
Stopped in on the 22nd and found Dave Gossett to be very friendly
and accommodating. Dave got a courtersy car for my passengers so that
they could attend to business. I relaxed in the lounge until noon at
which time Dave let me use his personal auto to get lunch. Thanks Dave.
16-Dec-2003
I'm not a pilot but my son, Johnny developed an interest in
airplanes recently so I took him to the airport to see airplanes. After
a hour of frustration from security fences, etc, he had concluded there
just were no airplanes to be seen. Then we ran into Dave with Skyline
Aviation. He invited us in for a tour. We saw a number of airplanes in
Skyline's hangar and several others outside. Johnny was overjoyed. To
top it off, Dave presented him with a free "altimeter/clock" for
Christmas and an 8X10 photograph of Johnny standing by his airplane of
choice. Needless to say, Johnny was grinning from ear to ear when we
left -- and in our book, these guys are truly wonderful people.
21-Jun-2003
We stopped at Skyline on June 13, 2003. They loaned us a courtesy
car to go into town. We had planned to leave after our meeting but a
serious line of thunderstorms forced an overnight. They let us keep the
courtesy car overnight. Avgas prices were right, and the facilities
were top notch. I highly recommend Skyline.
30-Apr-2003
The owners of Skyline Aviation are some of the nicest folks we have
had the privilege of meeting. My family and I flew in to watch our son
compete in a track meet at the local university and the owners loaned
us their car to drive over to the stadium. They also offered to make
hotel arrangements for us. The fuel price was top notch also. Thank you
so much for making our visit so pleasant. We hope to see you again
soon.
