This year, there is a
tremendous tax advantage for the acquisition of an aircraft,
through the economic stimulus plan, better known as Bonus or
Accelerated Depreciation. Please refer to
www.advocatetax.com for more details on this program. With
this in mind, some of you may feel more inclined to purchase
100% interest in this or another aircraft, which we will be
able to accommodate each of you in doing. Obviously you
cannot all own 100% of this aircraft, but we are involved in
an extensive network of aircraft dealers which enables us to
locate similar aircraft to fit each individuals needs. It
is important to note that in order to qualify, the aircraft
you purchase must be placed into service in 2008.
With that said, please
refer to the program details below, which will outline the
basic details of the shared ownership program.
Skyline Aviation
currently owns 100% of the aircraft, and will sell shares to
each of you who are interested in 25% increments.
Therefore, this program is limited to the first 4 parties
who elect to purchase. You may purchase 25%, 50%, 75% or
the entire 100% as well, which is a further limiting factor
to other participants. These shares are transferable, so
you can sell them at any time to another party. This
program is much cheaper than charter.
- Each 25% interest entitles the
owner to utilize the aircraft up to 100 hours per year.
- Each 25% share is $70,000 for the
initial acquisition
- Each 25% share pays $1800 per
month management fee, which covers insurance, hangar,
cleaning, management, and pilot.
- Each 25% share will pay all
expenses directly relating to each flight they
participate in, including fuel, oil, landing fees, etc.
- All owners will equally share all
maintenance expenses
- All owners will equally share in
the expense of upgrades, including paint, interior, and
avionics, as needed (Upgrades are also deductible under
the above tax plan in 2008)
This is a great
opportunity for each of you to own a cabin class twin engine
airplane for a fraction of the normal cost, with the pilot
and management responsibilities removed. I'm sure you will
all have some questions, so please address them to me at
blake.gossett@gmail.com, or give me a call at 432-934-4369
and I will be happy to discuss the program with you. I look
forward to personally working with each of you on this or
any other aircraft needs that you may have.
Thank you,
Blake Gossett |
